The CARES ACT pandemic relief bill became law on March 31, 2020 which expanded the list of qualified medical expenses that Flexible Spending, Health Savings, and Health Reimbursement account money can be used to purchase. That expansion will now cover menstrual products including pads, liners, tampons and other alternative and sustainable options. Account holders can purchase period products and submit the receipt to there specific benefit carrier for reimbursement.
